RJ Zanon Team 301
RJ Zanon is a dedicated service member, aviator, and off-road competitor who balances a career in military aviation with a passion for desert racing. As a UH-60 Black Hawk pilot with over 14 years of experience, RJ brings the discipline, precision, and mission-focused mindset of a military officer to the high-stakes environment of endurance racing.
He is most recognized for his historic performance at the 2025 SCORE Baja 1000. Entering as a privateer with no prior racing experience, RJ led the Pew Pew Cachoo Racing team to a Class 3 victory after rebuilding a salvage-titled, 2-door Ford Bronco in just five months. His accomplishment was marked by a rare "Ironman" feat, in which he drove the entire 854-mile course solo over the course of 36 continuous hours.
RJ’s work is a testament to the "do-it-yourself" spirit. From performing his own mechanical work to fostering a grassroots community of enthusiasts, he has become a prominent figure in the Bronco Nation community. Whether in the cockpit of a helicopter or the seat of a race truck, RJ is committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible through grit, community collaboration, and meticulous preparation.
